What should I add to my telescope arsenal?
I have an Orion Skyquest XT8 f/6 Dob.
Eyepieces: 32mm GSO SuperView
25 Sirius Plossl
9mm Edge-On Planetary
Also a 2x Barlow lens
Office chair as an observers chair
David Levy's Planisphere and Nightwatch by Terrence Dickinson
I know i need 10x50 binoculars, getting the Scenix line from Orion.
Anything else that might help? I'm putting some thought into getting a Televue 15mm Plossl
Any other suggestions that could be better or supplement?
Get a trelrad and learn to star hop -

Start looking at observing projects. Such those found at the Astronomical League -

Speaking of magazines - here's a couple of niche magazines that can have cool stuff -

This is a gear magazine primarily (wish book), but it has users guides as well.

For and by amateurs. Good resource for what is being developed for new products.
Depending on where you live and if you can attend. Go to a regional star party in your area. This is a great way to meet other folks in the hobby and learn from them. Everyone there is getting their astro-geek on, so it's a hoot.

You are just missing the prime month for catching all 110 Messier objects (Messier Marathon). but's that's O.K. If you haven't had to time to get your chops down for finding objects, you have until next year to get ready.

For example - here's one star party that I try and attend every year -
