OK, so how do we do it?

  • We first format the data received to be transmitted through our Dual 700 WATT-HPAs(High Powered Amplifier).

  • Once this data is in accordance with our specs, we point our 4.6 meter antenna at clear sky (away from any space crafts)

  • Then we record our current azimuth, elevation, and polarization settings on our antenna.

  • Before transmitting, we record the current time.

  • We then broadcast a signal at 92 dbw (roughly 1,000,000,000 WATTS) until the transmission is complete.

  • We then record the current time and send this information (along with the start time of transmission, frequency used, azimuth setting, elevation setting, and polarization setting then send this data back to the customer).

  • As a bonus, we also include a print out of our spectrum analyzer read out for the current location pointed at in the sky (this is a graphical representation of any signal/noise received after sending your transmission).

  • All information is sent in PDF format in e-mail to the customer.
