Great Chance to see Andromeda Tonight In Southern US?
Due to light pollution where I live(TN) Last night was only my second really good view. I'm using Orion Giant Binoculars 20x70 but I'm sure any good Binocular would do. Without triangle points to use it's quite impossible because of the Nashville city lights to the north, Mounted on a 4 foot tripod I simply used the moon and Venus and 2 yardsticks to complete the triangle and there it was!!!
An incredible site and am looking forward to tonight as well.
The photo guide I made should be easy to follow. It is looking due west at 7:42 tonight.

I guess my question would be can anyone else see it?

M31 transits at 2 or 3 pm. So it's highest in the sky earlier, rather than later. You can find out when astronomical night starts at heavens-above.
http://www.heavens-above.com/
Register, set your location, click on "Sun data for today". You should see a line like this:
Astronomical twilight ends:19:58-18.0°278°
So, for me, it's 8 pm when the Sun is 18 degrees below the horizon.
M31 is likely higher in the sky in Michigan. My light pollution is bad, but my 10" scope has a computer. Alignment is with very bright stars. Usually m31 is easy to find.
In your picture, Mirach is labeled. There's a star half way to m31 to it's right. These are usually the stars i use to hop to m31. The distance between these two stars is the distance you have to go. It's just above the straight line to the right. The hop is about 4 degrees, a little less than a fist.
